How to setup your wallet and use our Discord bot!

Along side of the recent release of the minion token Boss Swap deployed a tip bot and trivia bot on the the discord. The tip bot works well with $mini as the bot is often used by users to “throw funds around” creating a high volume flow. This volume is Minions core and allows the tax mechanism to burn and reward the boss token while letting users interact with live trivia and make payments using the !rain or !tip commands directly on discord without ever having to open a secondary wallet such as metamask. So how do easy is it to use the tip bot and play rounds of trivia? Lets see!

First click the Boss TipBot to open the profile of the tip bot, from here users can DM the bot.

After sending a message to the bot the page redirects to the direct messages page. I have already set up my account and made some transactions, a new users profile will not look like this, but it will look similar.

Use the !help command to see the complete list of available commands, these change from time to time with updates to the bot.

These are the commands, the first 2 commands the new user needs to make are the !deposit command which creates a new discord wallet and the !getgas command which faucets a small amount of ONE to the created wallet for gas.

First enter the !deposit command to make a new wallet.

The wallet address of a newly created wallet should appear if the command was called correctly.

Call !getgas to get a small amount of ONE to make transactions possible.

As you can see the bot knew I had ONE already so I was denied gas. If you do not have gas the bot will grant you access and deposit a small amount of ONE. I am doing a few steps into one image here. After running the !getgas command I call the !balance command to see the amount of tokens in my wallet. The tip bot responds showing I have ~100,000 $MINI and ~1.8$BOSS.

Back in chat live trivia is going on, I decided I wanted to tip one of the players for his response, using the !tip 1 @user command I am able to pick any single user and deposit funds to their discord wallet. The bot knows their address so all I have to do is enter the command. This is not a trivia reward, but a personal transaction from my user to another.

Often times for various different reasons a transaction will fail. The RED X shows a failed transaction. A GREEN CHECK MARK represents a successful transaction.

When a transaction fails the bot will respond with a reason why the transaction failed. In this case the bot assumed I was trying to send 100 $boss although I entered minion. This is because the TIP command is just made to process boss at the moment. The rain command send minion.

This is an example of how the use the rain command to rain minion. If the command is ran without a token specification the default token will be rained, in this case that is $boss. So !rain 299 would send 299 $boss to the last few users of the discord chat.

A processing !rain will look like this, then after it is successful or fails there will be a check green check mark or a red x beside the hour glass.
