Fools Fortune

The First Permanent Lottery Ticket

What is this project?

As of right now it is in it's infancy first off. It is currently ideas on paper, concept art (backside art decided already) and some basic contracts on Github. By far a work in progress

The basis of the idea is an NFT collection that each NFT is a permanent lottery ticket along with a character in guild lore for future uses (TBA). Each night a set of 3 numbers will be randomly generated and prizes will be awarded to the winner with the exact match in order (or straight if you will) and the others with a match but not in order (or boxed). Prizing for the drawings will be determined closer to launch of the NFT's

If noone wins the Grand Prize for numbers in order it rolls over to the next nights jackpot.

Each NFT will be a baseball card style NFT with one of 7 Custom made Jesters(First run, different theme every run) on the front, and the 3 numbers generated on the back. With higher rarity comes extra sets of numbers/entries. We are aiming for 5 rarities: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic and Legendary. With each rarity is 1 extra set of numbers.

We aim to make these NFT's affordable, in the $20-$30 range, not extremely expensive. But also the payouts are not going to be ground breaking or earth shattering. The emission of the rewards needs to be sustainable in order to not Hyperinflate the currency used for the secondary prizes. Once the prizing is determined I will edit this to show the amounts.

Do we have any concept art?

Yes, Our guild artist Robin Yui has just started this assignment at the beginning of the year but has cranked out concept art and has started the finishing process on some. I do not want to reveal all the concepts as to leave more to reveal later but can show you my favorite for now -

First concept art reveal

What I can do is share examples of previous art he has made us for NFT's:

As soon as the first examples are provided they will be detailed.

What are the initial lottery numbers?

The lottery will be a 3 Digit lottery from 0:40

That makes 63,960 Combinations

52,800 Combinations will be used

Each Rarity Breakdown:

  1. Common 50%

  2. Uncommon 30%

  3. Rare 15%

  4. Epic 4%

  5. Legendary 1%

A maximum of 30,000 NFT's will be minted:

  • 27,600 NFT's for public sale

  • 1,200 For whitelisted Investors to raise FOOL/ONE LP

  • 1,200 For Contests/Giveaways

Out of those 30,000 NFT's there will be the following totals of each rarity:

  1. 15,000 Commons

  2. 9,000 Uncommons

  3. 4,500 Rares

  4. 1,200 Epics

  5. 300 Legendary

Commons will have 1 set of 3 numbers, Uncommons 2, Rares 3 and so forth. Only 8 Legendary Fools exist with 5 - 3 number combinations on the back of the NFT.

What will they cost?

Each run will be 5,000 NFT's, 4,600 will be sold for 5,000 FOOL each, 20% of which will be burnt permanently. 400 will be used for giveaways and for whitelisted individuals.

What will the prizes be?

The prizing will be in FOOL. There will be nightly drawings (and twice on Holidays). We need to responsibly pay out to make this a sustainable permanent lottery. Our nightly prize to start: the exact match in order (straight) will receive 50,000 FOOL, and the winners with the matches out of order (boxed) will receive 10,00 FOOL each.

Will these NFT's have further use cases?

Maybe. We are looking at ideas of both testing the first decentralized lore marketplace and maybe contracting a few small web 3 platformer type games. Could be terrible ideas 🤷‍♂️

Full Launch Plan

At launch we want a swap, LP incentives and NFT minting live day one.

The swap will be minimal and for utility only at first (we can look at expanding that down the road). If incentivized with FOOL and the Fools Guild Farm the pairs will be FOOL/ONE and nothing more. If we have used a Syrup Pool type system (Preferred) and a new token we will have the new token XXXX/ONE and FOOL/ONE LP.

We have to have some functional lottery even if it is totally done manually at the beginning. We want working products, and a use for them to apply for a Grant to help us through development. We will keep an ample reserve in case of being turned down.
